Update on this issue:

The team are working on an issue that causes some players to only see the Demo version available in the updated Launcher.

However, please make sure that you are signing in with your Microsoft account with which your Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription is associated.

We are working on a solution for this issue. In the meantime, if you are facing this problem, please try using the previous version of Launcher, available on minecraft.net/download as the Launcher for Win7/8

I have the game pass, and I've downloaded Minecraft a few minutes ago but for some reason, it says play demo. I have the game pass what's wrong with the launcher???
