There's an issue with the Launcher off the game pass offer. If you sign out of your main game pass account and back in, it will not allow you to play Java edition despite having game pass on your main account AND also ignoring the fact game pass should transfer from your home account to any other accounts. I had to log in on the Microsoft Xbox website, and sign into the store, or start clicking on the multiple buttons saying, "Play with game pass", "Play, "Install with game pass" or "Get Free". (Which I think fixed it, I'm not sure. I'm only here after it wouldn't let me play the game, I was promised in my game pass that has 8 months until expiration.) Signing in and out of my Microsoft account on the launcher did NOT fix the problem. It tried to get me to buy more game pass for a dollar despite AGAIN having it for another 8 months. To repeat myself, I do not know exactly what caused this, or how I fixed it. I only came here (before fixing it) after thinking this might be the most accurate option to report under and didn't want to leave and have others get stuck by the same problem. My best guess at its cause was me signing into another account. It shouldn't have done that anyways since game pass is supposed to transfer and already did the first time that I tried to use an alt for Java. I didn't even switch accounts on the launcher, I switched accounts on the Xbox app, and it makes me automatically switch on the launcher. This only happened after I switched accounts for the SECOND ACCOUNT to play on BEDROCK EDITION and have the XBOX APP just open. NONE of which are AT ALL related to Java or the Minecraft Launcher. I have Bedrock Edition as a separate application from the game pass, that is why I don't include that as related. But I shouldn't have to try to log into several services to get the game I should be able to play anyways. Let alone have this "denial of service" type issue because of sign ins happening on almost unrelated apps AND still having the requirement needed for actually playing the game. If this isn't clear or the correct place to report this, I apologize. But I have almost constant issues with both Minecraft and Microsoft as a whole despite being a loyal Microsoft user for almost 20 years and Minecraft user for almost 13 years. If you may, please move this to the correct location. If it's not clear, please don't just toss it away like you did with my other issue(s) across your services.
