When controller turns itself off for being inactive (like when other players are taking over 10 minutes to check their inventory), it removes the player whose controller disconnected.

In past, we have been able to let the disconnected player reconnect controller, then use touch pad to bring up list of players and let them use L3 to rejoin.

The rejoin screen can be taking too long to show the players existing save data, but meanwhile shows Press X to Create prompt. I think if the player doesn't wait (or the existing save fails to load) and the player press X to Create, it overwrites their existing save data with a brand new save file.

This is what happened to my wife account last night. So me and the kids are level 30+ and she is stuck at level 1.

She was level 30+ in the game before this happened

Since only my account has PS+, we don't even have cloud backup for her save file from before this happening to recover. This is very disappointing and put an end to our playing.

If we continue we will have to keep taking USB backups of the save files because we can't trust this game not to do dumb things like overwrite, corrupt, or otherwise lose save progress.

Please fix the save file / data loss issue on PS4 for players playing local co-op together with multiple profiles as a priority.
