Nether travel In bedrock is useless/bugged.
TLDR: portals are acting weird/not generating in overworld in some places, leaving me stranded. In other places, going through portals literally kills me by suffocating me while I’m still on a loading screen, despite seeing on the death screen that I ended up in empty fields and should have been fine. Internet speed tests are great, it’s my own realm, and idk what’s causing this or what to do. Help?

So I made a nether path on my realm between my island and my friends island. So far so good. I knew that way further south was a village. So I went back to the nether, went south, built a third portal in the nether, and it dropped me at the village edge. Cool! Well, I went back through that portal into the nether, broke the third portal (hoping it would regenerate later when I would return to the village by boat.). Here’s where the endless issues began.
I went even further south in the nether, and made another portal. Walked through it…and was stuck on the “building terrain” screen for over 15 seconds, while I’m hearing myself dying. Finally loads just in time for me to “suffocate in a wall”…there was no wall. It was a field, and the portal.
I rolled back the realm about 20 mins, because to hell with that rigged sh*t killing me with my diamond tools thousands of blocks from spawn. There goes my progress of the bastion I raided or whatever.
Then I rejoin. I’m suddenly back at the village. Okay. Let’s go back through the portal and try again…..where’s the portal?!
Well I go by boat back to the portal at my friends island. Then walk to where the village portal was in the nether, which remember, I broke that one in the nether before the rollback… It was there and still lit. Alright. Well let’s walk through it…and sweet, I’m back at the village. Well let’s go back to the nether and continue from here—WHERES THE FREAKING PORTAL I JUST CAME FROM?!
Yeah, I even tried breaking and re-lighting it again in the nether. It still dumps you at village overworld with no portal. I made a new portal in the village and it does now drop you in the nether at the right portal, but going back to the overworld still drops you in the field by the village, about a chunk or two away from the NEW village portal. Whatever. It kinda works. I’ll leave them all there and just get some more obsidian.
I get more obsidian, go to the nether, pass by all the portals, including the village one, and continue digging way south, because I want new land to find caves on. I go way out in the nether, make another portal, walk through it…guess what?! I’m dying while staring at a loading screen again! I apparently once again suffocated, in an open field and a portal, and only could see the fact after I died.
What am I supposed to do? I have 500Mb internet, speed tests and pings are great, hard wired, so I don’t think it’s my end. But traveling in the nether literally kills me with no chances of saving myself short of rolling back. And let’s not forget the world portal bugs at the village.
What do I do?
