In the attached video (which I've slowed down 10x), the redstone lines show a one-tick delay between point #1 and point #2, as expected due to the repeater in the middle.

However, the pistons and lamps all (de)activate on the same tick, with no delay.

Furthermore, if I add a repeater at any point between the lever and #1 (not shown in video), all of a sudden, the pistons and lamps begin showing the expected delay between #1 and #2.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a setup as in the video.
      2. Toggle lever and observe pistons and lamps vs. redstone lines and expectations.
      3. Between the lever and #1 (anywhere, doesn't matter), replace one of the redstone lines with a repeater in the appropriate direction.
      4. Toggle lever and observe pistons and lamps.

Expected: Expected delayed activation of pistons and lamps at #2.

Actual: No delay in activation unless a repeater is present between the lever and #1. The earlier repeater affects the behavior of the rest of the delay chain.

Note: I am a novice at redstone behavior, so I can't really provide any more concrete details about what's going on here.
