Resource Packs, Textures and models
The two ears, and the four legs of a wolf both cannot be independently retextured from one another, making them always look the same, limiting the player's resource pack creativity.
This issue was created seperately from MC-271767 to allow for it to be resolved/triaged seperately, but is basically the same core issue with all wolf models.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Download and apply the following resource pack:
WolfCollar.zip - Spawn a wolf
- Tame it with bones
Observed Behavior:
Both of the ears and all four of legs of the wolf collar model/overlay will look entirely cyan, despite the player seemingly only modifying one ear, and one leg in the UV map.
Expected Result:
Only one of the ears and one leg would be altered, since that is what the player intended to change. The current behavior is unexpected and not resource pack friendly.
