Nintendo Switch
Before the Nintendo Switch 1.16.21 hotfix, the first way I noticed that my Nintendo Switch was freezing was while using commands in chat. Then I investigated further and realized that any text, not just in chat, but in an anvil or on a sign too, was freezing the game. I then realized that exiting the software was freezing it too. When I got on here to report it and saw the post, I figured that everything would be fixed after a week or so.
However, only a part of it was fixed in the hotfix. My game still freezes whenever type something. Mojang, please fix this, it's really annoying for when I need to talk in chat or rename something.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the Nintendo Switch Bedrock 1.16.21 version of Minecraft and sign in to a Microsoft account.
- Go into any world (regular world, friend's world, server, realm) that allows you to type on a sign, on an anvil, in chat, or in some other way.
- Type a few letters and confirm it. You should be able to exit the keyboard, but right after the game should freeze.
Edit:
- I think they fixed it? It seems like some people have it solved and some don't. I think I'm one of the lucky ones, it isn't happening to me anymore. But it seems like it is still to some people.
