Minecraft xbox on paid realm with 2 players logged in; when going to or returning from the nether there are several problems concerning parrots. First, players cannot travel to the nether via portal while parrots are shouldered. To travel parrots to the nether, Player 1 must sit parrots on the ground and pushes the parrots into the portal, Player 1 must enter the nether first to re-interact with the parrots or else the parrots will despawn if Player 2 interacts with the portal first. If Player 2 pushes parrots after Player 1 is in the nether waiting to watch the parrots to appear Player 2's parrots will disappear. Player 1 must be in the same realm, overworld or nether for the parrots to properly travel to the other side. Also if Player 1 pushes two parrots in the nether and then Player 2 pushes two parrots, whichever player spawns thru the portal first will be able to retrieve the their parrots while the other player's de-spawns. In my case Player 1 pushes first then Player 2 and both players enter back to the overworld (Player 2 being slightly faster to step into the portal) and Player 1 has lost both parrots. Lastly, if a player is able to retrieve their parrots once stepping thru the portal, the parrots are immediately shouldered when appearing, no need to un-sit the parrots.
