This is difficult to explain, but essentially the torches on my roof have inaccurate lighting. The are all on the floor and they light up the floor fine, which appears to prevent mob spawning still. One block height above these torches however appears to be unlit. This results in my character avatar as well as sheep and presumably other mobs to appear dark. When I jump, thus entering the second block height above the torch, I briefly become lit before falling back into the incorrect dark zone. Only the right half of my roof experiences this. It has been an issue for a while despite reloading the game many times. I also tried breaking and replacing the torches only to experience the same issue. When I did this repeatedly very quickly, I ended up placing the torch down while having an extra torch in my hand as if it were duplicated. I tried to place this new torch but it promptly disappeared from my hot bar. I was unable to recreate that duplication error again.
