I've had a problem in where large sections of my skyscrapers will become dark, as if there is no lighting in the area. Some are visible during the day, but they are all visible at night. Entire areas are pitch black sometimes

Placing a block down does not work, the lighting will come back, but only temporarily. Then it will return, and then same glitch will occur to another area somewhere else in the city. Destroying blocks or placing blocks down do not fix the problem and cause the dark to spread and the dark area to become darker.

It began after the update 1.14.0 was officially released on Xbox One. It has become progressively worse since then. It doesn't have a specific pattern in where they occur, though it is most common on my taller buildings. The bug causes quite an hindrance on my city and annoys me to unprecedented extents.

Also, my world is over two years old, if that helps.
