Looking at bubble columns through the glass makes water look like it's fully transparent, only bubbles are visible. On the screenshot you can see that on the other side it seems like it's using a pumpkin texture. Very weird overall, I have't seen it happening before. When I tried to reproduce this in my creative world there was no texture at all (Except for the bubbles, I think it's an old texture as well)
