The Xbox One X controller connects to the iPad through the new operating system (iPadOS 13.1.2) and works with Minecraft seamlessly (with no lag) when used for offline-play; however, as soon as you go into a realm or share a world online, there is a lag in controller input that lasts just long enough for it to not be useable for actual gameplay (drag from look-direction, and long hesitation for jump and interact actions).
There is no lag from touch input in these scenarios, and the game itself doesn’t lag at all; it’s just the controller and only during online play. I feel like this should be a simple fix given that the problem seems to be fairly isolated.
The touch controls are not near as usable as the controller and it's the whole reason I bought the controller.
