I have added a picture of the error screen I recieve at the end of this report, though there is no code, so I'm unsure of its helpfulness. I'm aware that there are a few other crashing reports for the Switch, but none matching my exact problem.

Sorry for the length, but I'm trying to be as detailed as possible.

I'd like to start this off by saying that I had issues before the most recent update (lag even on the starting menu screen, disconnecting or crashing with autosaves, an inability to join with my other Switch friends due to timing out, ect), but these seem to have been fixed in 1.12.0

However, after updating to 1.12.0, I'm completely unable to play the game. I no longer experience lag on the start menu, but attempting to join any world whatsoever (including solo, multiplayer, and realms) crashes my game the second I join. I am able to actually get into these worlds for a brief moment (as opposed to when I couldn't join multiplayer at all), as my friends report seeing a message about my arrival, but this moment is so brief that I actually don't get to see the world.

When this happens, my switch displays a message saying "The software was closed because an error occurred" with no error code or anything in specific.

      OTHER DETAILS:

      • Though I no longer experience lag on the start menu, actually booting up the game can take up to four or five minutes as it simply sits on a black screen before the Mojang screen appears. During this time, I can bring up my Switch mini-menu by holding the start button (there's some delay), but I can't actually leave the software with a single press. I'm locked in until the game starts.
      • Sometimes, closing the game voluntarily causes it to load for up to a minute before fore closing.
      • I received the software from a code, given as a gift by a friend.
      • I've already tried checking my connection type, redownloading the game five times (twice via checking for corrupted data, both times saying nothing was found, and thrice through completely deleting the software, restarting my switch, and redownloading from the E-shop). No other game on my Switch behaves this poorly.
      • I've tried things like turning down my rendering distance before starting the game, disconnecting from the internet and reconnecting, and so forth. Nothing has worked, and none of my friends who also have Minecraft on their Switch report this problem.
      • I've tried playing the game both signed into and out of my Microsoft account. This changes nothing.
      • I've tried making new worlds, as have my friends. Neither works: I can't even load into mine after making it (but it does stay saved on my list of worlds), and I can't stay in my friends' worlds long enough to see anything but the loading screen before my software closes.
      • Changing the game mode of my friends' worlds does nothing.
