Villagers as of beta 1.12.0.13

       I did try to search. Did not see this. 

       

      I am talking about several issues i think might be linked and needed to fix what i care about. 

       

      In 1.11.4 could not get villagers to work on realm. Nothing is consistent. Even with new villagers some would choose jobs. Some would just stay unemployed. Not talking about nitwits. Had really given up on getting them to use beds wish you would as well. Doors worked. We deserve a game that works.

       

      Downloaded and played local same issue. I can place beds and workstations down until they quit reacting and 10 more. And you have many villagers that will not choose a job.

       

      Enabled beta. Wanted to see if fixed 100% in beta. Only do beta on rare occasions. Also tried a new iron farm in beta. 

       

      Instantly on 1.12.0.12 beta 1 of 2 new villagers took the job from the grindstone in front of him. The other no. Niether used the bed. There are around 15 other villagers in this area for trading hall. At one point all were linked to beds and stations. They are in cubicles and standing on bed. They all quit using beds. As far as i can tell the 5 or 6 farmers are still refreshing trades, same with 5 fishermen. The 5 fletchers do not. Before and after beta have broken stations and placed them back down. They don't work. 

       

      After 1.12.0.13. The 2 new villagers the jobless one is now a weaponsmith. The one that is a weaponsmith changed to a stonemason. The only stone cutter is about 100 blocks away. 

       

      As of 1.12.0.13 after working on iron farm and letting run till kicked while sleeping. A few farmers and fletchers are using beds. The beds were not recently broken before or during the beta. 

       

      I built a new iron farm during this. I removed half of my old iron farm. So about 60 to 80 villagers, many beds and work stations. This made room for the new farm. 

       

      The farm is featured on skippy6gaming youtube channel. I tweaked it. It was working. Was getting 1 golem every 5 to 7 min. After 3 or 4 killed off remaining old villagers and removed rest of old village. No more golems. Waited several hours. Built a platform near iron farm. Put in beds. Spawned villagers 15 to 20 villagers. In iron farm had 4 groups of 15 villagers. Added 2 villagers to each group. 

       

      This iron farm is over 100 blocks away from trading hall on the xz axis. And over 100 away on the y axis. 

       

      I slept while running. Before kicked generated about 1.5 stacks of iron and 5 stacks string from cats. 

       

      It was after this noticed villagers now sleeping in beds. And the 2 new villagers taking and changing professions.

       

      Could we seriously talk about going back to the cast system and doors for villager mechanics. Put this crap on the shelf until it rises above alphaware. So players can be players instead of beta testers.
