So when I reenter my survival world I’m greeted with a death screen with a background that looks like my world’s original spawn area along with the items I had last play session scattered, when I choose to respawn I spawn back where my bed is without my items. This has happened a handful of times now to the point where I usually give up on a world and start another. In my most recent world I took the precaution of placing all of my important items in a chest before leaving the game (I always choose “save and quit” and make sure my game is saved before turning off my switch or the program). Every time I’ve done this I spawn back into the world perfectly fine, but the one time I decided not to do this I ran into the same problem. This leads me to believe that this bug has to do with how many items you have in your inventory before saving and quitting the game. I have also tried unistalling and reinstalling Minecraft but the same thing happens. This has also happened before and after the Catastrophic Pandamonium update.
