Nintendo Switch
I'm using Minecraft on Nintendo Switch (Bedrock edition) version 1.8.1 (in a Realm running version 1.8.0)
Sometimes, maybe once every hour of gameplay, when traveling long distances quickly a player can come up on an invisible barrier of some kind. The barrier keeps the player from traveling into the next chunk it seems, since it has only been experienced when approaching the edge of a map. It can happen anywhere, even in the nether. The barrier seems like a never-ending invisible wall that cannot be crossed.
- Logging out then back in removes the bug.
- Going through a nether portal then back removes the barrier-bug as well.
- Never experienced in the same location twice.
- Always seems to happen when going the same direction for a long time.
- Unknown how to replicate other than traveling at high rates of speed for a long time.
Hope you can remedy this somehow, eventually – difficult to verify I know. It has been happening since 1.8.0 upgrade.
