MCPE 1.5.2 freezes randomly when playing without an internet connection on an iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.4.1 as of August 4, 2018.  Example of no internet connection would be while flying in an airplane or riding passenger in a vehicle.  Freezing generally occurs within minutes of launching the game forcing me to close the program. I can make it past the loading screen, Xbox sign in and launch my world before a freeze occurs. When playing at home with an internet connection, meaning wifi connected, then I can play for hours without the game freezing on the same iPad in the same Minecraft World. I have already tried lowering the render distance to 5 chunks, disabling; fancy graphics, smooth lighting, bobbing, bubbles, beautiful skies, clouds, etc.  I have tried setting the FOV to 70 and 80 without success. I deleted Minecraft completely from the iPad and reinstalled it from the App Store and the freezing still occurs. I flipped through all the video settings again after reinstalling the game and still get freezing while offline. I’ve deleted other apps off my iPad, cleared caches and temp files and force reset the RAM.  In the end while playing offline The game still freezes.
