The game simply crashes while trying to open the game. From my testing, it only seems to affect Android phones.

Reproduced most efficiently by:

• Starting up the game with poor to no internet on an Android 5.1 Moto-E phone. Crashes most commonly occur after the "Minecraft" logo screen ends. Though the game can also crash on the main menu after 1 to 2 seconds.

The game crashes most commonly on the main menu if there is enough internet present.
