With the unpopular removal of the classic D-pad and the new d-pad having a number of differences, the option to customize the location, size, and opacity of the d-pad was given. Often however, the changes made will randomly revert to default setting for no reason. Sometimes reversion is triggered by using scaffolding or riding an animal, but it can happen for no reason. 

steps to reproduce:

1. open a world in mcpe and select d-pad & touch to interact for control mode
2. customize size, location, and opacity of d-pad and jump or crouch button 
3. Play for a few hours to days
4. use scaffolding 

expected outcome: controls will not revert to default 

experienced outcome: controls revert to default
