This problem only happens me on singleplayer worlds, not on the server I play on. It happens to me and at least one other menmber. But that could have other reasons, we don't really have unsafe portal areas. I have been attacked on loading screen both on realm and in singleplayer worlds. Is it standard?

It's simple: Loading in the nether takes a bit longer (nothing weird with that) but then you hear yourself being attacked by mobs that loaded in! There you are with "building terrain" on the screen and listening to yourself die without being able to protect yourself. It's very frustrating! When I finally load in I'm greeted with a death message. That's just so unfair! I have tried fighting back and placing blocks while the loading screen is on and mobs are killing me, but it's clear Im not moving or hitting anything. I'm just standing there like piƱata.

This problem is killing me! lol

Of course this issue is only an issue in an unsafe nether terrain. If you are very unlucky you will be stuck in a death loop for a very long time before getting out of it.

Fix this, what ever it is, it's not just lag. Maybe lag is a factor, but that should make this an easy fix? Just make sure if player can't move - hostile mob can't move! Sounds fair doesn't it?
