Nintendo Switch
We played Norse Mythology in multiplayer mode for several weeks using split screen (left/right side by side) on a Nintendo Switch. A few weeks ago; however, it started crashing with the error: "The software was closed because an error occurred." Usually this happens right after a 2nd player joins the game; however, sometimes it happens in single player mode too. The map will load on the 2nd player's screen, but after a few seconds it crashes.
Thinking the world file itself might be corrupted, we created a new Norse Mythology world using the template but it exhibits the same behavior. We also tried creating a world that uses the Norse Mythology resource pack instead of starting with the template; however, it also crashes when a 2nd player joins.
Figuring this was only an issue with Norse Mythology we purchased the Jurassic World DLC. Unfortunately, it doesn't even work in single player mode. We created a world using the template but it crashes right after the world loads with the same error: "The software was closed because an error occurred."
We've tried restarting the Nintendo Switch, closing and reopening the Minecraft app, and creating worlds with different players but nothing seems to help.
