Multiple
After updating to 1.18, chunks load slower than usual, before 1.18, chunks load much faster than in 1.18 and above. This doesn’t affect only one device, it affect multiple devices. Even when you have a good quality device, with a lot of RAM, you are up to date with the software updates on your OS and you update to the latest Minecraft(Bedrock) version, still this bug happens.
How to reproduce this bug:
1: Create a new 1.18+ world.
2: Go into creative.
3: Fly around the world.
Observed Result: The chunks will load slower than usual because of the 1.18 update.
Expected Result: The chunks should load quicker like pre-1.18.
After the 1.18 update: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZIvhYVZ7Au7c0UU0JyqAEtFH9DeeudtqN37
(render distance is 10 chunks) Took the screenshot in Minecraft 1.19.20.
Before the 1.18 update: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZ27SYVZG97Dmx40W3Ymo6l945BaCS7BRLIk
(render distance is 8 chunks) Took the screenshot in 1.17.32 Minecraft Education.
Please fix this bug/issue, it is very annoying for me to travel with my elytra.
I am currently using iPad 8, and the software version is iOS 15.6.
I think the only benefit with this bug is that when you exploring, you might stumble on some new unloaded chunks and you will load them, with this bug, you will load the new unloaded chunks but you will load less of them since they are not able to load in time. You might even fly over the unloaded(never explored) chunks and not load them. So with this bug, you might save up some storage.
