When I was in the end I made a safe bridge going across the void and it is a 2 block high and 1 block along and I put a block 1 block above the bridge to the side, because I was running out of blocks when making it, and when I walked into the block it went straight through the block and fell into the void, and it doesn't happen in the over-world, I haven't tested it in the nether yet
