So, I've been wanting to play with a friend on MCPE, while they were on Windows 10... and those are meant to be able to play together, right? However, when either of us try to join the other's world, we get a simple error, only saying "disconnected from world", with no other information. I've been trying to connect with cellular data, with the appropriate option toggled to allow me to play using it, and it didn't work, same with when my friend tried to join, with the same error
I also tried joining on Wi-Fi, with the same results. I also tried joining another friend with both of us on Android, with the same result as well. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail. Tried changing different settings, which also made no difference. However, on non-beta versions, I can join servers just fine, but not friends' worlds.
Steps to reproduce:
- Host a regular Minecraft world, or have a friend do it
- Have the other person, or you if the friend hosts try to join.
Expected results:
The non-host can join the host's world
Observed results:
The person who tries to join gets a "disconnected from world" error when attempting to join.
