When a zombie villager is approached by a minecart, it should enter when their hitboxes collide. In my current experience (only using taiga villagers) I’ve found that formerly unemployed villagers turned zombies are unable to enter a minecart, where they should be able to.
Steps to Reproduce:
1: Get a zombie
2: get some villagers (employed, unemployed, and nitwits)
3: convert a villager to a zombie (let it be killed by the zombie
4: put your new zombie in a pit
5: try to get it in a mine cart (it won’t happen)
NOTE: I’ve only tested adult villagers, who are either unemployed, or nitwits.
Expected behavior:
any mob (with a few exceptions) should be able to board a minecart. In previous versions, zombie villagers were able to enter minecarts, but at the present moment are not
Why is this important:
Zombie villagers are a useful source of XP, enchantments, and items. When reconverted back to villagers, trade prices drop significantly, allowing for cheap emeralds and items. Having this as an in game bug breaks some villager trading halls, and can make the technical gameplay part of Minecraft significantly more difficult.
