I'm very sorry - 40 year old mom here that plays Minecraft with 11 year old son and doesn't know how to use this Jira system and has tried searching for same issue. We have been playing in the same world for a year with no issues. I'm the main character and I died in lava. Death screen was going for 5 minutes and not properly respawning my character. My son, the second player, saved and left the game. My character would still not re-spawn. And I couldn't manually save the game - it was stuck. We eventually reset the Xbox. Upon reload, I respawned (no levels, no inventory but same character - to be expected, I had died) but so did my son with no inventory, no levels and his dogs won't unsit and his ender chest is empty.  He had just finished mining over 100 diamonds and I want to cry. Please help! We have not been playing the game in hopes that we can recover the game for his character.
