Hello bug-fixing team,
I have come to realize that, when creating a new world without VBOs enabled from the title screen's options, the game will crash instantly upon world creation. If there is a previously created world in the single player world list and VBOs are off, then the game will crash while loading. I have attempted to create, close, then launch a world in-game (with VBOs disabled) using the latest 1.8 release, and works fine. However as soon as I attempt the same thing with any Minecraft 1.9 release and VBOs disabled, the game will crash with error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. Enabling VBOs will cause game to be functional, but with frame rate dropping from an average of 85 fps with VBOs off in Minecraft 1.8 to an average of 60 with them on. Please also note that I am playing at full screen resolution, which is 2160x1440. Thanks,
Alex Fanat
