Basically, I tried out Minecraft 1.9. It seemed fine (a bit laggy) at first glance. I decided to make a NEW world to try out 1.9 with a clean slate. The "Building Terrain" text appeared. I then was put in a black void for a split second and then:

Basically, the game crashed. I looked up the issue, but to no avail.
The next day, I tried again multiple times, still having the same problem with every world I made. I looked up the answer again, and found someone on this very domain with the same problem, resolved. It told me to update my drivers (i5) and try adjusting VBO and VSync. I adjusted VBO and VSync and THAT worked until I set the game to full-screen. The game crashed again.

I then used my Intel Auto Updater to update my drivers automatically. It did so, and I restarted my PC. I then was POSITIVE it would work. But it didn't. The game crashed AGAIN. Also, I discovered even in windowed mode Multiplayer doesn't work.
Now, I am stuck here. I have restarted my computer, fiddled with Minecraft settings, and even updated my drivers, and NOTHING. I'm considering to stop playing until an OptiFine 1.9 is released, and if THAT doesn't work, I can't play.

Thank you for your time. I appreciate it.
