There is an issue with the number of hostile mobs spawning in all 1.8+ versions forward. I have noticed whenever I go outside or anywhere at night, I run into at most 2-3 mobs. This is not an issue with my computer, I have checked and changed the render difference, messed with the difficulty, but there are still very low spawn rates. This bug is making Survival mode so boring, and it needs to be fixed now.
