What I expected to happen was the render distance to increace
What actually happened was that in the distance or even right underneath (i was flying) the chunks all looked exactly the same and would all change rapidly from one biome type to the next, mainly acacia biome but that may just be because that was the biome i was in. Also there something that resembled a mob but it was massive, incomplete and made out of the blocks seen around it things like stone obsidian and even whole trees. They were shaped like a corkscrew and behaved something like the squid mob it was just 'swimming' through the chunks. It all looked really cool especially when you listen to music but i would like to get back to playing Minecraft.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. put the render distance above 20
2. look around the world
p.s. its quite a noticeable bug so it might be somthing to do with my computer since no one else has mentioned it.
