Unconfirmed
I started up a new world in Minecraft 1.8. The render distance was at 5 from a previous world so I turned it up. I expected the render distance to increase normally.
What actually happened was that as soon as I increase the render distance, the entire world bugs out. I have no better way to describe it. You can not tell by the pictures, but each chunk is flashing different chunks very rapidly. However, they all flash the same chunks at the same time. Returning the render distance to its previous state returns the world to normal.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot up Minecraft 1.8
2. Start new world
3. Once spawned, increase render distance
