Camera, Commands
When a player spectates another entity while the game is frozen, the camera movements will be very choppy and disorienting. This behavior does not occur for normal gameplay, or slow tick rates.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Freeze the game
/tick freeze
- Summon any entity
(more noticable with a tall entity) - Scale the entity (Optional):
/attribute [UUID] minecraft:generic.scale base set 10
- Spectate the entity
Observed Behavior:
The camera will move towards the entity's eye line as expected, but the smooth motion of the camera will be lost, resulting in a choppy movement.
Expected Behavior:
Just as with a regular tick rate, or a slow tick rate, the camera movement would be smooth.
Screenshots/Videos:
Due to the restriction of recording the video at 30fps, it is recommended to not take this video at face value, and observe the bebavior on your own, as it is much more noticable then.
