Unconfirmed
On macOS versions of Minecraft, it is not possible to drop entire stacks of items as the shortcut to do so is Command-Q, which is the macOS system shortcut to quit the current program. Therefore, when a stack is dropped on macOS, the program closes.
What I expected to happen was...:
Control-Q should drop a stack of items by default on macOS, and the shortcut to drop a stack of items should be configurable.
What actually happened was...:
Using Command-Drop to drop a stack instead closes the game.
Command-Drop is the only shortcut to drop an item stack, meaning that the drop key must be changed if a stack is to be dropped.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Minecraft: Java Edition on macOS
- Enter a world
- Attempt to drop a stack of items ingame using Control-Q, does nothing
- Attempt to drop a stack of items in game using Command-Q, game closes
