I noticed when working with blocks that are on render pass 0, they should obviously be opaque. However if you have a block on this pass with a slightly translucent texture, with render distance set to short or tiny, the block becomes slightly translucency.
To replicate:
- Without the code at hand replace a block texture (such as the Gold Block) with a translucent texture (As shown in the attachment).
- If you have the code at hand, merely set Ice to return 0 for its render pass.
- Regardless this happens with view distance set to short or Tiny
If I wasnt clear (which I can completely see being the case) just let me know! I will try my best to help out
