Trying to activate a dropper T flip flop from above with a pressure plate. It worked as expected until i moved it over one block, then nothing.
What I expected to happen was...:
to activate the T flip flop with a pressure plate from above to turn on/off a farm.
What actually happened was...:
it worked perfectly until it was moved 1 block over to better suit my usage. The moved T flip flop was unable to work.
The original thought was the circuit only worked when placed in certain part of chunk, as is seen from pictures it is not only set to one position or not.
All T flip flops in pictures are built exactly the same, the ones with activated comparators work, the rest do not. Buttons were used in the test world for ease of use, when activating the T flip flops with a button directly on the second dropper all works perfect, it is only when trying activate with the dropper with the redstone dust do problems occur.
The pink wool represents 0,0 of the world, the diamond block represents 0,0 of the chunk, the emerald block represents 15,15 of the chunk. The black/ white outlines 1 chunk.
Most screenshots are from a test world created for this problem only. The final two are from the farm world showing the actual use area, would like to move the pressure plate into the hallway when this problem occurred.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place first dropper facing up.
- Place second dropper on top of first dropper facing forward.
- Place third dropper in front of second dropper facing down.
- Place hopper under third dropper pointing into first dropper.
- Place redstone dust on top of second dropper.
- Place solid block above dust with pressure plate/ button to activate.
- Place comparator reading second dropper for signal transfer.
- Add 1 item into first dropper.
- Activate pressure plate/ button, if it works it should activate the comparator.
