Textures and models
Discovered while testing MC-262173.
The bug
The base plate element of tripwire hooks uses the oak planks texture. While the front and back of this map the texture correctly, the top, bottom and two horizontal edges of it do not.
How to reproduce
A test resource pack is attached to this ticket which changes the oak planks texture so that the outermost edge of the texture is made out of blue pixels.
- Download and apply the attached resource pack
- Place oak planks
- Place a tripwire hook and take note of the texture on its sides
- Place an oak button and take note of the texture on its sides
Expected results
The blue pixels on the tripwire hook would appear closest to the block it's attached to, just like the oak button.
Actual results
They do not.
How to fix
The resource pack attached to MC-262546 fixes this issue alongside many others.
