When in a private, single-player survival world, I was typing random words into the chat when I was suddenly kicked.

At the time, I was using the chat that appears when sleeping in a bed. I have not tested the chat outside the bed I took a moment to check this, and the bug can be reproduced outside of the sleep state.

The world in which this occurred was a desert-only world gen, in survivalnormal difficulty, with keep inventory on death as the only world option enabled, cheats are disabled.

The world was done in single-player.

Upon testing, the bug occurred every time (I tried 4 or 5 times).

      What happens:

After spamming chat messages while using the chat during any state, the screen turns grey, and after a few seconds, a message pops up that says "Connection Lost    Kicked for spamming".

A button is shown to go "Back to server list". Clicking the button returns the game to the multiplayer server list, despite the bug occurring in a single-player world.

Fortunately, it seems that producing this bug does not cause progress to be lost.
