      Description

In a single player world with cheats disabled, sleeping in a bed and "spamming" the chat with anything causes a crash without a crash screen/log. This issue does not occur on worlds with cheats enabled. This issue was originally taken down at MC-6648 for not enough information. Since it crashes me I decided to re-report it. This has been in the game since 1.3, and the result has been oscillating from update to update. It has either crashed Minecraft or sent the player to a "disconnect.spam" screen over the last two years.

      What I expected to happen
When I kept typing in chat, I would not be kicked.

      What happened
When spamming, I was kicked and went to a brown screen for a second, then crashed. The crashing does not always happen, but its a bug nevertheless.

      Steps
Create a world with cheats disabled
Get in a bed (not needed, but easier)
      Spam the chat

I'm guessing it has to do with operator privileges in the internal server, but I'm no dev. No crash report can be provided because Minecraft doesn't think it crashed, thus not creating a report.
