The Bug:
A maximum of thirty-two characters can be inputted into the "Invite player" field despite usernames not being able to exceed the sixteen character limit.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to the minecraft realms menu.
- Click on your realm and hit the "configure realm" button.
- Hit the "players" button.
- Hit the "invite player" button.
- Type a name that is longer than sixteen characters.
- → Notice how a maximum of thirty-two characters can be inputted into the "Invite player" field despite usernames not being able to exceed the sixteen character limit.
Expected Results:
The expected behavior would be that you are only able to input a maximum of sixteen characters as usernames cannot exceed this limit. This could be considered as a feature request.
