Around version 1.2.5 Minecraft would tilt the camera in the direction of where the player took damage. Now it has defaulted to tilting left due one line of error in syncing between the player and the client server.

As this is a really cool feature that I'm surprised hasn't been fixed since, I implore that this should really be looked into. As other people seemed to have fixed the entire bug by changing one line of code, here is my reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAJPc71YOnY

If an unedited video of me showing off how this is supposed work is needed. I will quickly update this to include a link.

This would also fit very well with the Combat Tests as this is very PvP/PvE related. So if it cannot be fixed for the latest version of minecraft, have be fixed for the Combat Tests and make it an optional thing so people don't get forced to change from an always tilt left to omnidirectional tilting. A simple button that in video settings called, Camera Tilt: Iconic/Classic would be best suited for this issue. I have made a small concept design for where the button should/could go.

If, for some reason you are not sure where to look in the video, the code will be presented as a screenshot. I will also link to the mod itself to allow anyone else to get a better understanding of how it works.
