When crossing only some chunk borders in the game, the game freezes anywhere from 5 seconds to one second. once one of these spots can be found, you can walk back and forth over the border to cause the stuttering on command. Apon reloading, everything is fine for a few moments, and then different chunk borders cause the issue. Sometimes it is every chunk border. Makes the game completely unplayable.

Tested on Ubuntu and Win10, using singleplayer, vanilla multiplayer, and fabric server, using the supplied datapack applicable for this snapshot. This issue is not present when I am not using the supplied datapack for the (assuming 1.18, or.. 1.17 and a half?) worldgen.

According to the F3 pi chart, I am getting signifigant spikes under root.scheduledExecutables.unspecified. by quickly walking over this border and getting the spikes I can get this to go from around 6% time to close to 45%. The supplied screenshot is what happens if I move back and forth over the border. the spike only occours when moving left in this particular screenshot, it only happens when crossing the border in a particular direction.

Happy to help with any more information, I know I am not the only one having this issue. Hopefully we can get this resolved and I can get some SWEET iron megaveins!
