when running away from melee mobs they will stop before they hit the player and sometimes it seems to lose interest on the player.

      how to reproduce:
1:create a superflat world(set it up for no mob spawning so you don't have to deal with slimes)
2:spawn a baby husk(to avoid using too much commands)
3:just walk in survival either using the third person view or looking at him
      4:done

i have noticed this several times when a vindicator is trying to hit me in the middle of a raid and then now i got myself running away from a baby zombie but never got hit by it so when i turned to see it and i saw how he stopped every time its about to hit me i have attached a video as an example this one is on 21w11a but affects 1.16.5 too. as far as im aware it happens on 1.13/1.12/1.11 and 1.10 but i can't select them
