This issue clones MC-166980, namely the part where it talks about all of the bees in an area suddenly leaving all at once for no reason. They have some tendency to wander northwest (MC-206401), but it can happen in any direction as well. They also have some tendency to travel together in groups.

According to MC-166980: "They can also just collectively decide to become flying potatoes and drop what they're doing to go fly aimlessly in any direction."

This part of the bug has not been re-reported to my knowledge despite it still being a problem. I have been three biomes away and suddenly seen a half-dozen bees come flying over the cliff. (I had at least 15 bees, leaving at least 9 unaccounted for)
