Tested on a server. In 1.5, 500 Zombies chasing a villager or player was smooth as melted butter. Upgraded to 1.6, and 50 of them chasing something causes the server to reach 100% CPU usage. Only with zombies, only when they are tracking something. Nothing has changed on the server except the version of minecraft we are running.
