Every time I start minecraft in the minecraft launcher it tells me "Sorry, unable to start minecraft. Please check your configuration." I have looked up every solution I could and it doesn't work. I've tried to reinstall the game multiple times, I've tried repairing it through the setup wizard, and I've even tried changing my DNS multiple times. This problem has nothing to do with mods. I have no modpacks downloaded onto minecraft. What is especially weird is that in the %appdata% folder inside the .minecraft folder I have little to no files. The list of files I have are a folder titled webcache, two text documents titled launcher_log and updatelog, and I have 3 JSON files named launcher_settings, launcher_profiles, and launcher_ui_state. That is all. I also cannot activate the drop down for version under installations. I am downloading minecraft through the "Already own minecraft? Download it again" I've had minecraft for years at this point and this is the first time I have ever had this problem. My username is creeper6215. Please get back to me if you know how to fix this. I love this game and just want to play it.
