      Fall damage is reset when an entity converts to another entity.

      To Reproduce

      1. Summon a piglin that converts to a zombified piglin right before it hits the ground by using the command provided below.
        /summon minecraft:piglin ~ ~31 ~ {TimeInOverworld:270}
      2. Notice that after the piglin converts to a zombified piglin (while falling) and does not die when hitting the ground.
