Java edition. Singleplayer.
Literally as title saying, I am experiencing microfreeze/lag each time I am going through ANY chunk border.
This seem to start happening since 1.13 update. But now this problem became really noticeable.
This happens with almost any graphics setting (except rendering range 2, but this is impossible to play like that).
Steps to recreate:
1) Install Minecraft and JRE. Reboot.
2) Set JVM parameter -xmx4g (doesn't really matter, it lags on any setting here).
3) Start Minecraft. Set rendering range 12 or more. Other options doesn't matter on performance much, checked a LOT of times.
4) Create new world.
5) Wait until spawn and rendering range properly builds and FPS will stabilize.
6) Move through chunk borders a few times.
This lag happens even on already generated chunks exactly when going through chunk borders.
Happens with both VSYNC on 60 FPS (FPS goes down to 58 or lower during lag) and unlimited FPS (noticeable lag spike/fps drop).
I don't think that such PC specs should cause anything like that to happen.
P.S: Tried with embedded Java as well, same result.
