I generally spend a lot of time in villages and tend to stay up later fighting mobs in outside fields, so I found this bug relatively annoying.
After dark, when villagers start to try and make their way to their respective beds, some villagers will stand outside facing the wall where their bed is. They can't seem to recognize the path to their bed, and instead, stand out next to the wall their bed is facing. I've found some solutions, like adding a door there, breaking the wall every night for them, and shoving them in front of their door, but it gets old. Villagers with good trades get murdered quickly this way, as some of them refused even to flee zombos.
It's been this way for a while for me, and it's still a problem in 1.15.1. It can be replicated in any game mode with any difficulty, but creative peaceful is obviously the easiest. Haven't tested it on a super flat world, though.
