      The bug

When a falling block lands on top of a boat, it might get placed on top of a non-solid block, such as a torch.

      How to reproduce

      1. Place a boat on top of a solid block
      2. Place a torch on the side of that block
      3. Make sure the boat's hitbox (visible using F3+B) extends over the solid block on the side the torch is placed on
      4. Place sand at least two blocks above the torch
The sand will fall, land on the boat, and get placed on top of the torch
