Redstone signals do not travel through Honey Blocks, Redstone dust, levers, and buttons also cannot be placed on Honey Blocks, these reduce the functionality of the Honey Block, making it unsuitable for things like flying machines, which require signals from observer or Redstone Blocks to travel through Honey Blocks and into pistons in order to achieve locomotion, because Slime Blocks do not have this problem, and as I understand Honey Blocks are supposed to be parallel to Slime Blocks, I am listing this as a bug. Thank you
What I expected to happen was...:
The observer would detect the redstone updating, powering the honey block beneath it, which would in turn activate the redstone lamp
What actually happened was...:
the observer detected the update but was not able to transmit the signal through the honey block, thus the redstone lamp remained in the off state
